"I have now raised three puppies with nicely controlled growth rates, beautiful coat and condition, and excellent overall health and soundness. I cannot claim this for the "premium puppy foods" I have used in the past. I have been breeding and showing English Setters for 15 years and practicing veterinary medicine for nearly that long. I feel very fortunate to have such an excellent line of pet foods available for myself and my clients, as I firmly believe it is the first and most important part of a preventive or restorative health program."

"I specialize in the treating of so called "chronic incurable diseases" of Western medicine and many of my patients are considered to be dying when they come to me. One of the first changes in their lifestyle I make is to have all of my patients eating a wholesome, human quality food. In order for a patient to be cured of these "incurable" diseases, they must become healthy. Without a good wholesome diet, the rest of the therapy cannot be successful. I cannot recommend any other food than the Flint River Ranch food."

Walt McCall, DVM, Campbell, CA

"As you know, I have been retailing Flint River Ranch in my clinic for several months now. I have had only positive results. The food is so palatable, I have yet to have any pet refuse to eat it. The clients are seeing noticeable improvement in their pet's skin, haircoat and general level of vitality. I have a three-year old Westie that suffers from atopy and allergies in general. Her owner commented just today that she has never seen Maddie's hair look so good! I agree! Another patient was in the clinic almost every other month with chronic yeast or Staph. When I saw him last week, his ears were clean and healthy. The owner reports no changes other than feeding Flint River! I also have a couple of FUS cats now on FRR instead of Feline C/D. So far so good!!

Only a couple of years ago, I was one of the top retailers of Hills Science Diet in the metro Atlanta area. I felt comfortable feeding and recommending these products to my clients. Now, however, I am seeing the results of feeding a high quality ALL NATURAL food. Those artificial ingredients and preservatives truly do (directly or indirectly) cause a host of problems. I'll never again recommend any food that is not totally natural. I'm excited about working with you to bring Flint River Ranch Foods to a much wider market."

Following are some of the messages we have received from people whose pets love Flint River Ranch Super Premium Health Food for Dogs and Cats:

Just wanted to say a quick thanks for your wonderful dog food.  I ordered one bag to try and after receiving it, quickly ordered a full supply.  I have always used Purina products and felt comfortable with them but with the addition of some Cavaliers I wanted to try something different, something healthy.  All the pups and older dogs go absolutely wild when they find the Flint River Food in their dish.  Picky eaters no longer exist with  this food...Thanks Mary Anderson

Inky the Cat is a very picky eater and turns up his nose at most foods;
however, after introducing him to the FRR food he constantly stays by
the feeding bowl and noshes at all times of the day and night.  He loves
it, for which I am grateful knowing that my little baby boy is getting a
proper diet and an excellent source of vitamins and minerals.
Thanks FRR...Joni

My mixed breed is 11 years old ( raised from 7 weeks) had been licking one particular joint on her leg until we became quite concerned about it.  The vet said it was probably arthritis and put her on a round of steroids.  I am afraid of steroids, because I know that they rob bones of calcium, among  other things.  I found Flint River's web sight and read about  Jubilee Wafers.  I take Glucosamine myself and it has done wonders.  My adored Miss Priss started  Jubilee Wafers around March 25, 2003.  Today is May 7, 2003 and she no longer licks her leg and is moving around like she did when she was four years old. Our vet was skeptical about Jubilee Wafers, but they are my animals not his. I ordered the lamb & rice food today.  If you've got something going, enhance it as much as you can.

Shadow, our longhaired miniature  Dachshund, is extremely tiny.  Weighs 11 1/2 pounds.  He started moving very slowly and would no longer jump up into my chair to park beside me (his favorite position).  He started hyper-ventilating  one evening and we rushed him to the vet.  The vet took x-rays and said that Shadow was in pain and had a calcium deposit on his spine.  He mentioned  surgery (which I was not amenable to) and decided to put him on pain medication and steroids (I don't like steroids, too many side effects).  I also put Shadow on Jubilee Wafers on March 25, 2003.  He is skipping around like a puppy.  You know animals are really four legged people and should be treated as such. I cannot extol the praises of Jubilee Wafers enough.  If you haven't tried them, do.  I have been tempted to eat a few a day myself.  I'm 66 and I wouldn't mind feeling 35 again. Our dogs enjoy them more than any treat we have given them and little do they know how good they are for them. Peg & Mike Fowler, Crowley, TX

This is going to sound crazy but I swear it's true! I just got back from Vacation and my roommate left my mail on the table. Your cat food had arrived and was torn open. One of my cats was able to smell cat food inside a bag that is inside another airtight package, rip it open, and eat it! I have no idea which one ate it or what amount or anything because even the papers inside have been clawed somewhat, wish I had a digitizer so I could send you a picture of this... Thank you so much for the information.  I am living testimony that the dogs love the food.  I have a little girl collie who hates eating dog food, you get the bin of flint river ranch, and she goes crazy, I have never seen her act like this.  I just want to thank you guys so much, for making my life a whole lot easier, and making her healthier.  She has gained a little weight too which is always a good thing especially when she was way under weight. Jacklynn

Our nine month-old lab/shepherd mix spends more time at the vet than any dog ever should during an entire lifetime.  After a couple of close calls where we nearly had her put to sleep, it was determined that she suffered from blood poisoning as a tiny puppy (prior to our adopting her), which has caused permanent damage to the bone marrow in her legs.  Since we aren't sure at this point how her internal organs may have been affected, we can only speculate that her immune system has been weakened somewhat, because she has been sick quite often and suffers from constant leg injuries that require restricted exercise in order to heal.

Recently Sadie stopped eating her dog food (Iams) - first by picking at it, then totally ignoring it - until finally she wouldn't eat a thing - not even treats!  After consulting with the vet, we started her on hamburger and rice, which she tolerated well and throughly enjoyed.  After seeing how she reacted to being served this "delicacy", we realized she never liked her dog food.  Now the problem of getting her off "people food" and back onto a dog food she would eat - and enjoy.  We tried Iams Lamb and Rice, Eukanuba, and Science Diet Nature's Best (which they report to score the highest in taste tests when compared to several other popular "natural" dog foods).  She wouldn't touch the Iams or Eukanuba, but she would pick at the Science Diet and eventually finish her food.  I knew this wasn't the answer, and by this time I was desperate, so I got on the Internet and began to search for a healthy, palatable dog food.  Your company's name kept coming up during my searches, so I accessed your website to learn more.  The testimonials I read convinced me that your product was worth a try and gave me hope that we may have found a healthy food that Sadie would enjoy eating.

I impatiently awaited the arrival of her first twenty pound bag of Flint River Ranch.  My husband was skeptical, but when we put a dish of your food next to the Science Diet, Sadie went straight for your nuggets.  I took the dish away from her and set it down a couple feet away, placed the Science Diet in front of her, and again, she went for your product.  She ate every last bite and has continued to do so at every meal.  Not only is Sadie eating (and enjoying her food), but she seems so much happier, and her energy level is sky-high!  My husband agrees with me that your product is responsible for this dramatic change in our beloved pet.  I have just placed an order for more Flint River Ranch and am also going to try the Jubliee Wafers to see if they may help with her leg situation.  We have been singing your praises to all who will listen.  Thank you, thank you, thank you for your wonderful product!  Sincerely, Merri Bohnenkamp

About 3 weeks ago I requested your sample of the cat food, while I was talking to your wonderful customer service department I went ahead and told your rep to just send a 9 lb bag of the kitten/cat food along with the sample.  I just had a feeling about it.  And I was right.  My cats love it!!  I have four and they all seem to enjoy your product.  I was feeding them Meow Mix and one of my cats was always throwing up.  I tell you, that stuff stains something fierce.  I still have spots in the carpet.  Since feeding them your product, she has not thrown up. I have since order a 20lb bag and it got here in 2 days.  Talk about fast service!!!  Most people would think that $38 for a 20 lb bag of food is too much.  I for one do not!!  It is worth every penny.  I will continue buying your product to the very end.  Thank you for your wonderful product and keep up the good work. Sincerely,  Yvonne Clark, Gracie, Mousey, Sophie, and Cassey

Although it has taken me well over a year to write this letter to you, I am compelled to tell you how wonderful your product is. I have a 17 year old male long haired domestic mix cat named Buck who has been eating your FRR Cat and Kitten Food for close to two years.  My search for a new food for him began when Nature’s Recipe (the food he had been eating previously) changed their formula and he promptly turned up his nose.  Prior to that incident, Buck had also been losing weight and the lower half of his tail was nearly bald.  He had always been a solid black cat, but with aging, his coat was turning grey, especially on his belly area, and the rest of his coat had a reddish hue to it despite the fact that he is an indoor cat.

I came across your website searching for new foods and was intrigued by the testimonials of other pet owners.  One of your retailers offered free samples and I called to request one.  I’m sure you’ve heard this many times, but when I opened the sample package, Buck almost attacked me trying to get to your food.  Needless to say, he thought it was wonderful and I promptly ordered a bag.  What happened next totally amazed me.  Over the next few months, Buck started putting the lost weight back on and the hair that had been missing from his tail for years came in thick and bushy.  Months later, an acquaintance of mine who only sees Buck occasionally commented on his lack of grey and as I really looked at him, I realized that my beloved Buck was solid black again!  I had failed to notice that the reddish hue had disappeared from his coat and his tummy had turned back to its original glossy black color.  I was stunned!  Nothing else had changed in his diet/routine except for your food.  Buck’s transformation made me realize that you truly “are what you eat”.

As I stated previously, I kept meaning to write to you and praise the quality of your food.  Buck has been on your food for close to two years now, and his coat is as thick, black and glossy as it has ever been.  I recently took him to the veterinarian for his yearly checkup and she could not believe that he was 17 years old.  Everyone at the vet’s office commented on his exceptional coat, the lack of tartar on his teeth, and general overall great health.  I have no doubt in my mind that it is all due to your quality food, and I sing your praises to everyone I meet who expresses any dissatisfaction with their cat food.  Buck will be eating FRR for a long time to come, I’m sure. Thank you for making such a wonderful product. Paula Louvier

I ordered the Flint River Ranch cat food, not expecting much. Pierre's been turning up his nose at Iams unless I mix it with Fancy Feast. I've tried a lot of free samples of dry food recently without any luck, he doesn't even like Pounce anymore. I've been wanting to get him back on more dry food for his teeth, and this stuff is lower in ash than Iams regular. But the best part is he actually ate it. Barbara

Thank you for sending my sample of Flint River. Received it yesterday, and gave my 13 lb. dog a sample taste right away. She loved it. I then went out and left the bag on the kitchen table. When I came home the empty bag was on the floor and she had eaten every piece. Her full dish of another new food we were trying was still on the floor (PHD). If I send you my charge info can I order some more e-mail? Also please give me info on the dog treats you sell. I would like to order more as soon as possible and really hope it helps her itchy skin problem as she seems to really love the taste. Thank you again. Jean

I received the sample of Flint River Ranch Cat Formula in the mail this week. I fed it to my cats thinking that it was just like any other dry food, and they devoured it. I have never seen all 3 of them like the same food before, much less go nuts over a dry food. The sample lasted them two meals, and for the rest of the week, they have been glaring at me over their dishes of boring old Purina O.N.E., which isn't exactly on the crap-end of the mass-commercial cat food spectrum itself. I'm putting my first order in the mail Saturday morning, if they still love it after eating their way through the whole six-pound bag, they will have themselves a new regular brand, but I suspect that they will. thanks again! Bobbi

Thank you for sending the sample. Well I guess you've heard this before, but my VERY finicky dog loved it!!! Normally, we have trouble getting her to eat. She's quite nervous, doesn't like being/eating alone, and has to be encouraged to eat. We put some of this in her dish and she went nuts! We mixed it in her other food (IAMS) and she rooted through it to get the pieces of the Flint River Ranch kibbles. When we get to the bottom of the IAMS bag (we just bought a 20lb bag) we will be ordering. Thanks again! We'll be in touch! Nan

You asked how my dogs like their food. Well, they turn their nose up at Nutro now, and I have just placed an order for a 40lb bag of Flint River Ranch. They really like it and seem to be doing very well on it. I have trouble keeping weight on my female Akita- she can be a very fussy eater- and she looks forward to every bowl of this. My Rottweiler, a stray we rescued two short months ago, loves any kind of food, but I had noticed digestion problems with Nutro. He hasn't had an upset tummy once with Flint River! Tell me more about the dog biscuits... they sound pretty good, too. I'm so glad I saw your message on the Internet! Sharon

I got my sample of food, I had to write and tell you about it. I didn't get the mail today....just got it now - at about 10:30 pm. I came in the house and put the mail down...then went outside with my three dogs...Tsuwa (my Lab mix) LOVES her ball - and we were playing fetch. Well, after about 3 fetches (she can go on forever) she ran PAST ME! and ran into the house. So I came in with my other dogs and started talking to my boyfriend. We then heard Tsuwa opening the mail! She had your package nearly open! It was really hilarious! All three of them 'shared' your sample...they really liked it! Brandy
